The Sure Beta 52a is an industry standard when it comes to recording kick drums, bass guitars, or any low frequency response instruments. It's rugged design and its maximum SPL of 174dB make this a great mic to put through the wringer. This microphone is in very good condition with no major blemishes on it's surface with only a few small scratches on the back of the mic.
